Plugins extend the functionality of WordPress.
None of the plugins require an upgrade to a paid plugin. You can upgrade if you desire because it's your platform to grow and develop.
Below is a list of non-specialty plugins installed on the platform. Not all the plugins are "Active." If you choose not to use a plugin, deactivate and delete it. Most plugins can be reinstalled through the "Add New" plugin feature in the Dashboard.
Activate and set up iThemes Security and Wordfence Security.
Set up your email address and details in Post SMTP.
WPForms Lite is the general contact form. It is set up to the admin email address.
WP-Sweep cleans your database, do this once a month or more.
Yoast SEO is on every website page and post/update in the WordPress editor. If you want to manage how your pages appear in search engines and social media, edit this section on the individual pages/posts. There are also global settings Dashboard > SEO.

There are two ways to edit pages and posts from the Dashboard ("backend") and from the website itself ("frontend"). In the Dashboard, hover below the name of the page/post to make the options appear.
Pages: Dashboard > Website Pages > All Pages
Posts: Dashboard > Posts/Updates > All Posts
